My name is Manda and I love Pandas.
Growing up I thought I was not an artist. My father, and two brothers, were all artists, my first art teacher was a man as well and in my adorable kid brain that meant Men=artists Women=not. I am so glad I am no longer so binary. When I met my husband, Ben, in 2010 he told me something that forever changed my world "to be an artist all you need is a paintbrush or a pencil."
A few years later I attended my first paint and sip at Wine and Canvas. I fell in love with painting. I came home and spent the next several days painting a variety of landscapes. Fast forward a couple more years and I am now an artist at Wine and Canvas, helping others discover their own hidden talents. I did my first drawing, other than a doodle, on May 13 of 2016.
I am always hoping to find new ways to learn and grow as an artist, and this project is one of them.
